Chai Benefits – Chai Ghai

Why Chai

Chai is a healthy, easy to make, traditional drink enjoyed around the world. While recipes vary vastly in different families, and regions, each beverage uniquely combines tea, spices, milk, and sweetener to bring consumers the perfect beverage.

Chai can be consumed hot for warming up during the winter or cold for cooling off in the summer. It is also known for its myriad of health benefits thanks to the anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, and immune boosting benefits (and more) from the many added spices.

The process of making chai is both an art and an act of mindfulness. It’s cooked slowly so the flavours and benefits of the tea and spices can fully steep and form the right consistency and strength when combined with the right milk and sweetener. The process offers everyone the opportunity to slow down, take time to care for ourselves and our families, and find a bit of joy through chai.
